Betsy Brannon Green

Betsy Brannon Green (born June 1, 1958) is a Latter Day Saint mystery/suspense novelist.

Early life

Green was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. She lived in Utah while her father was attending the University of Utah. He father finished school and moved the family to Birmingham, Alabama where he attended medical school. After medical school, Green's father joined the Army, and after moving around the country on a variety of assignments, the family settled in Alabama.

Career

Betsy made her first serious attempt at writing in 1998. The first book she wrote was rejected by the publisher,Fact|date=November 2007 but her next book "Hearts in Hiding" was accepted and published in May 2001. Her newest book "Backtrack", was released in May of 2007.

Personal life

Green met her husband, Robert in 1979. They have been married for twenty-eight years, have eight children, and currently live in Bessemer, Alabama. She is also a really cool aunt.
