Evanston Northwestern Healthcare

North Shore University Health System previously Evanston Northwestern Healthcare, located in Chicago's northern suburbs, is an academic health system which until 2008 was affiliated with the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University and all attending physicians were on faculty at the Feinberg School of Medicine. The health system includes Evanston Hospital, Glenbrook Hospital and Highland Park Hospital, as well as the ENH Home Services, ENH Medical Group, ENH Research Institute, and the ENH Foundation.

On June 16, 2008, Evanston Northwestern Healthcare announced the termination of the affiliation agreement with the Feinberg School of Medicine of Northwestern University. The phaseout of the affiliation will take one year. In July 2008, Evanston Northwestern Healthcare announced that it had agreed on an academic affiliation with the Pritzker School of Medicine of the University of Chicago.

As of September 15, 2008 ENH officially changed it's name to NorthShore University HealthSystem.
