The Engineering and Technology Board of the United Kingdom (ETB) is "a registered charity that aims to tackle the significant yet unaddressed needs of the UK's science, engineering and technology industry and to create a unified platform and voice". ETB works in partnership with business and industry, Government, education and the profession to improve the perception of science, engineering and technology (SET) in the UK. It claims to represent more than 30 engineering institutions in the UK alone and equal numbers of science bodies. It was created on 14 February 2001.
