Yun-Fei Ji is a Chinese painter. Born in
Beijing in 1963, he now lives and works inBrooklyn ,New York . He paints on handmaderice paper with translucent ink or paint based on natural pigments, using ancient techniques, includingcalligraphy . His subject is the failure of the Communist utopia in China.elected solo exhibitions
