Rod Roberts (born October 22, 1957) is the Iowa State Representative from the 51st District. He has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2000 and is an assistant minority leader. He received his BA from Iowa Christian College.

Roberts currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Appropriations committee; the Human Resources committee; the State Government committee; the Transportation committee; and the Administration and Rules committee, where he is the ranking member. His political experience includes serving as assistant majority leader in the Iowa House and serving on the Carroll School Board.

Roberts was re-elected in 2006 with 6,564 votes, running unopposed. [http://www.sos.state.ia.us/pdfs/GenOffResults.pdf]
