The Hill 2 Hill Mountainbiking Marathon is an annual one day off-road cycling race which takes place between Hilton overlooking Pietermaritzburg and Hillcrest just outside Durban in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

The race is a gruelling 105 kilometer mountain biking race organised by Hill 2 Hill Events which attracts a large field of participants form across the country.

The race route passes through a wide variety of farm and community land between the two cities.

There are five water points and the finish is at the Shongwenipolo club offering food and beverages, family activities and showers for participants.

The inaugural race in 2006 was won by Burry Stander from Durban, with Tania Raats winning the women's category.

In 2007 Stander successfully defended his title in a tense sprint finish against Brandon Stewart with David Leiman, Pete Smith and Richard Beswick rounding out the top five. Amy-Jane Mundy reversed the 2006 result when she beat Raats into second position.

By winning the King and Queen of the Hills titles as well, Stander and Mundy added an extra R1200 prizemoney to the R11000 and R8000 respectively they earned for overall victory.
