- Guys Read
Guys Read is a literary organization founded in 2001 by
children's book authorJon Scieszka to promote literacy in men and boys. Citing psychological and biological studies concerning the physical, mental, and emotional growth of adolescent males in comparison to their female counterparts, the intent of the organization is to promote books that boys like to read concerning subjects that interest them, as well as helping form their emotional growth and providing male literaryrole model s.
