Sierra Madre Villa is the easternmost station on Metro's Gold Line. The station uses an island platform in the median of Interstate 210 (Foothill Freeway). The station is located between Sierra Madre Villa Ave. and N. Halstead St. south of Foothill Blvd. in the city of Pasadena. The station itself was designed by artist Tony Gleaton, and features large photo portraits suspended above the platform access stairways. The adjacent 950-space parking structure was designed by artist Beth Thielen, using a theme of "nature and movement". [Metro Gold Line Station Information. [http://www.metro.net/riding_metro/Sierra%20Madre%20Villa%20Station.htm Sierra Madre Villa Station] , Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. (Retrieved on May 27, 2008)]

The parking structure entrance is on N. Halstead St. on the east side of the structure. A bridge from the fourth level of the parking structure provides access to the platform, passing over the westbound lanes of the Foothill Freeway.
