This was his first release since his disappearance from the rap scene as Zev Love X, after KMD was dropped from Elektra Records and his brother, DJ Subroc, was killed in a car accident. The three tracks were from the then-upcoming "" album.
If you notice, these versions on the song in this single sound differently from the Doomsday album. These tracks were later re-recorded for the album.
