Robert Baldock was the Lord Privy Seal and Lord Chancellor of England, during the reign of King Edward II of England. He may also have been the Robert Baldock who was elected Bishop of Norwich on July 23 1325 but resigned the office on September 3, 1325.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 243]

He was archdeacon of Middlesex when he was named Lord Privy Seal on January 27 1320. He retained the office until July 8 1323.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 90]

He was later named Chancellor of England on August 20 1323 and lost the office on November 16 1326 when he was imprisoned.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 84]
