WMOH was co-owned originally with former FM sister WHOH (currently
Cumulus Media -ownedWGRR ) by its founder and original owner/operator Fort Hamilton Broadcasting. Both stations went to separate ownership in the 1970s. From its beginnings in the 1950s and through the 1960s, WMOH maintained amiddle of the road format before switching to contemporary hits in the 1970s and through the mid 1980s.As of January, 2008, the morning show is local. It features long time WMOH employee Steve Vaughn and the station owner's son-in-law, Chris Theiss.
The station had been Cincinnati's affiliate for
ESPN Radio until July, 2007 when it switched toWSAI . WMOH has since become more of a general talk station, featuring talk shows fromSalem Radio Network during the day, andSports Byline USA at night.References
