Demographics

As of 2001 India census [GR|India] , Ramban had a population of 5443. Males constitute 68% of the population and females 32%. Ramban has an average literacy rate of 77%, higher than the Indian national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 86%, and female literacy is 59%. In Ramban, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
