William Nugent Glascock

William Nugent Glascock

William Nugent Glascock (1787 - 1847) was a novelist. He saw a good deal ofservice in the navy with credit, and from this drew the inspiration ofhis vigorous and breezy sea-stories, which include "Sailors and Saints"(1829), "Tales of a Tar" (1836), and "Land Sharks and Sea Gulls" (1838).
