United Communication Services Limited (UCS) is the largest cable operator in Bangladesh. It is actually a consortium of cable operators.Its main coverage area is the metropolitan city of Dhaka. UCS has the largest fiber backbone in the city, so far deployed more than 400km of fiber optic cable and connected hundreds of cable television operators. Moreover, many leading ISPs are using their fiber backbone to interconnect various PoPs. UCS claims to have 80% of the cable TV market share in Dhaka.
