Charlton Marshall is a village in north Dorset, England, situated beside the River Stour on the A350 road two miles south of the market town Blandford Forum. The village has a population of 1,150 (2001).
Facilities in Charlton Marshall include a pub "The Charlton Inn". There is no longer a post office in the village. There is however a thriving rural community with plenty of daily activities.
An open section of the Stour Valley Way is used by parents to walk their children to school and for dog walking.
Transport
Charlton Marshall was once a halt on the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway.
