Nicky Evans, (born 20 April 1979) is an English actor who currently plays the role of Shane Maguire on channel 4's Shameless.^[1] He was also known for his role as Roy Glover in the popular British soap Emmerdale,^[2] where he played the part for six years from early 1994 until leaving in the summer of 2000 whereupon he played roles in various dramas such as Burn It^[3] and Clocking Off.^[4]
