El Privilegio De Amar was a Mexican telenovela (1998) remake of the Venezuelan Telenovela Cristal (telenovela) (1985-1986) starring Adela Noriega for which she won Best Young Actress Award from TVyNovelas in (1998).

Synopsis

Luciana Duval is the prosperous owner of a fashion house, who decides to look for the daughter she abandoned years before. At the same time, Cristina, her daughter, leaves the orphanage where she grew up and moves to an apartment with two other girls to pursue her dream of becoming a model. Not realizing that she is her daughter, Luciana employs her, and Cristina is on her way to success when Luciana discovers that Cristina and Víctor Manuel, her stepchild, are in love. Luciana fires Cristina, and Víctor Manuel marries an old girlfriend, Tamara, who claims to be pregnant. Soon after Cristina is abandoned by Víctor Manuel and kicked out by Luciana, she discovers that she is also pregnant. Then, she gets another job, but luciana tells her boss to fire Cristina and she does.
