Early years
He was born in Newbridge, Monmouthshire in February 1959.
Rugby clubs
An outside-half, he was a prolific goal-kicker and is the joint record points holder for Newport RFC.
He also played for Pontypool, Newbridge, Bedford and more recently Old Albanians.
Coaching career
Turner later became player/coach at Sale Sharks, backs coach at Harlequins and is currently first team coach for the Newport Gwent Dragons.
