Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School is a Roman Catholic Christian Brothers secondary school serving students in grades 9 through 12 in Brooklyn, New York. The school is under the jurisdiction of the Brooklyn diocese.
History
The school first opened as St. James school for boys in 1851 on Jay Street. In 1926 St. James became one of three diocesan high schools for boys. In 1933 the school moved to Clermont Ave and St. James was renamed Bishop Loughlin Memorial High after John Loughlin, the first Roman Catholic bishop of Brooklyn who lived from 1853 to 1891.

In past years, the Loughlin Track Team has been well-known, Earning titles such as those won in Millrose, Penn Relays, And Many CHSAA Championships. Former Loughlin basketball players include Mark Jackson(former NBA player), Herbie Allen (current Division 1 basketball player), and Villanova grad Curtis Sumpter.
