Vevčani ( _mk. Вевчани) is a municipality in western Republic of Macedonia. "Vevčani" is also the name of the village where the municipal seat is found. This municipality is part of Southwestern statistical region.

Geography

The municipality borders Struga municipality in the north, east and south and Albania in the west.

Demographics

According to the last National census from 2002 this municipality has 2,433 inhabitants. ref|census
