The Young Turks claims to be the first Internet TV news show. The video of the show is streamed daily on their [http://www.theyoungturks.com/ website] , and available for [http://www.theyoungturks.com/info/podcasting podcast] . The show offers exclusive, web-only video content via their Youtube Channel. They have received multiple honors for Top Rated, Most Viewed, and Most Discussed clips on YouTube. They also offer weekly highlights. The Young Turks also offer a Members Only Postgame Show, an uncensored, web-only wrap-up show that is available only to paid Young Turks Members.

atellite Radio

Prior to signing with Air America, the show was broadcast on Sirius Satellite Radio, on Sirius Left 143 and later 146, weekdays from 6-9PM ET, and re-aired on Sirius Talk Central 148 from 12-2PM ET. The Young Turks (TYT) also were the first show exclusively for Sirius Left to air not part of a syndication network. The show was exclusive to Sirius for several years.

The Young Turks are also carried by KFH (1330 AM/98.7 FM) in Wichita, Kansas from 7-9PM CT and webcast by RadioPower.org. MP3 archives are available at the show's website and The White Rose Society.

They were made famous for their 99 hour "Live, On Air Filibuster" conducted during the nomination of Samuel Alito to the U.S. Supreme Court. Hosts including Thom Hartmann, Mike Malloy, Bob Kincaid, Brad Freeman (Brad Blog), and Peter B. Collins, filled in so that the shows regulars could have breaks.

The Young Turks can now be heard from 5am - 8am est. weekdays on XM channel 167 America Left.

Hosts

Since the inception of the show, it had been hosted by Cenk Uygur and Ben Mankiewicz. It was announced on August 20, 2007, that Mankiewicz would leave the show and move to a new television show for TMZ. Co-Hosts

While the show revolves around Cenk Uygur, there are many people that take the role of co-host. Ben Mankiewicz, Wes Clark Jr, Michael Shure, and others are often brought in as co-hosts or replacements for days Cenk is not present. Cenk also has regular bits and on air interaction with those who help run his show; Jesus Godoy, Ana Kasparian, Dave Koller, and Jayar Jackson

Regular Bits

-Bitter Movie Critic with Dave Koller. Dave Koller does movie Reviews scoring movies on a reverse scale of lemons from one to five, based on how bitter he is about the movie.
-What would Jesus do. Cenk asks what Jesus Godoy what he would do in random situations if forced to make a choice.
-Sports with Jayar Jackson. Cenk and Jayar discuss the latest in sports news.
-Absurd News Alert. Ana Kasparian talks about interesting/funny news from around the world.
