David M. Williams is a Canadian businessman. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Ontario Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.[1]Prior to that Williams held senior executive and finance roles with George Weston Limited and Loblaw Companies Limited, including a term as Chief Financial Officer of Loblaw Companies Limited. Williams also serves on the Board of Directors of Toronto Hydro Corp., Canadian Apartment Properties REIT, Associated Brands Income Trust, Volume Services America Inc., Morrison & Lamothe Ltd. and CFM Corporation. Mr. Williams has been a certified general accountant since 1972. Mr. Williams’ extensive experience has required that he analyze and evaluate financial statements of a complexity at least comparable to those of the Company and has provided him with a thorough understanding of internal controls and financial reporting procedures.[citation needed]
