The Japan Davis Cup team represents Japan in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Japan Tennis Association.

Japan finished as runners-up in 1921, their first year of competition. They currently compete in the Asia/Oceania Zone of Group I. They were and inaugural member of the World Group in 1981, but has not competed in the top division since 1985.
