Stanley Ray White (born October 24 1949 in Dover, Ohio) is a former American football linebacker from 1972 through 1982, playing for the Baltimore Colts and the Detroit Lions in the National Football League. He then played in the United States Football League for the Chicago Blitz and the Arizona Wranglers. Growing up in Kent, Ohio, he attended Theodore Roosevelt High School, graduating in 1968. He was the only player in Ohio to play in the state all-star games for football, basketball, and baseball. He played college football at Ohio State University, where he was an All-Big Ten and All-American selection.
