Lines

Sets operate on the Yūrakuchō and Fukutoshin Lines, including inter-running services over the Tōbu Tōjō Line between Wakōshi Station and Kawagoeshi Station. Sets also operate over the Seibu Yūrakuchō and Ikebukuro Lines between Kotakemukaihara Station and Hannō Station.

The first sets were introduced in 1974, with a total of 34 10-car sets built up until 1989.

Refurbishment

Type of refurbishment are C-refurbish (small scale) and B-refurbish (big scale). All of 2 step window cars () were executed B-refurbish and changed to 1 step window. Some sets of there refurbished middle additional cars () also refurbished and some sets are not. Middle additional cars of 7117 and 7120 are not completely refurbished.

Control system of sets 7101 to 7120 is updated. Many sets changed to IGBT-VVVF system. Number of motored cars reduced from 6 to 5 in some sets.
*7108 7111 7117: Use remained chopper system which were gathered by converting VVVF (from middle additional cars ()).
