Springfield College or Springfield College in Illinois (SCI) is a college in Springfield. The school was founded in 1929 by the Ursuline Sisters. The school remained an associate's degree granting institution until it entered into a partnership with Benedictine University in January 2003.[Ellersten, Peter.
