Seaway District High School

Seaway District High School is a small, rural secondary school set in the town of Iroquois, Ontario, Canada. The high school, which has an enrollment of approximately 500 students, first opened its doors after the relocation of the town of Iroquois in the 1950's, and saw the amalgamation of two prior high schools, one in Morrisburg and an earlier one in Iroquois. The school takes its name from the Saint Lawrence Seaway. Today, the school is well known for its athletic department, as well as for its Global Outreach organization and drama department.
For the past several years the Drama department has put on a well rehearsed play in addition to serving a spaghetti dinner. The start of this tradition was in 2006 with the play "A Slip in Time Kills Nine" staring Bret Avery. The following year the school performed "George Washington Slept Here" starring Bret Avery and Jessie Moore as Newton and Annabelle Fuller. GWSH had the greatest attendance to date.
