John Leonard Wilbur (born May 21, 1943 in San Diego, California) is a former American football offensive lineman in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams, and the Washington Redskins. He also played in the World Football League for The Hawaiians. Wilbur played college football at Stanford University. He played in the Ice Bowl against the Green Bay Packers.
Wilbur graduated with a degree in History from Stanford University, and later went on to receive a business degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Besides his professional NFL and WFL football career, Wilbur was a notable rugby union forward, playing for the Hawai'i Harlequins RFC. His personality and style of play made an indelible imprint on the history and prestige of the game in Hawai'i.
He has one son, Nathan Wilbur, and one daughter, Dione Wilbur, from his first marriage, and he has one daughter, Lindsea Kemp-Wilbur from another significant other.
He is close friends with the Kennedy family, and Joseph Patrick Kennedy II is his youngest daughter's godfatherFact|date=September 2007.
