Grace Antonia Helen Hutchinson was a fictional character on the long-running Channel 4 British television soap opera "Hollyoaks".

She was played by a number of child actors.

Character History

Born in October 2005, two months early, Mandy and Tony's baby girl was called Grace. Grace was originally going to be called Antonia but Mandy wasn't very keen and thus a compromise was made. Antonia was then made her middle name. Mandy suffered post-natal depression for a while but grew to love Grace after she spent a while in intensive care. Mandy made friends with the young mother in the next room where her daughter Daisy was premature as well as Grace. When Mandy heard the death of baby Daisy; she grew to love Grace in fear of losing her. Tony was always a doting father. Grace was christened shortly before her death, and Becca Dean was godmother, while Max, OB and Dominic were godfathers. Grace died in May 2006, aged seven months old, from suspected SIDS, coincidentally on the night Hannah Ashworth and Nancy Hayton were babysitting; which left the girls traumatised, after thinking it was their fault. Soon after Grace's death, Mandy then left Hollyoaks in the of hope moving on and subsequently left heart-broken Tony behind, after he had told her that it was all her fault that their daughter died that night.

Moving On

Tony met Jacqui McQueen, and it was when Jacqui found out she was pregnant with Tony's child that she thought their lives would be simple, whereas Tony still had huge doubts about the baby because of Grace. When Jacqui sadly lost the baby, Tony was left heartbroken once again - Jacqui couldn't conceive children anymore. Tony then had an affair with Jacqui's younger sister Mercedes and fell pregnant, which she had an abortion. Jacqui's other sister Tina is currently carrying what Tony believes to be his, child after agreeing to be a surrogant mother for the pair. However, Tony may not be the father of Tina's baby because Tina slept with her sister Mercedes' ex-husband Russ Owen around the same time as Tina's conception. Tony also fathers an eight year old boy called Harry by his ex girlfriend who conned him out of money before fleeing Hollyoaks. Mandy met a guy called Mark, and the pair became a couple. They have since had a little girl called Ella, however, Mandy has since caught Mark cheating on her, and left him, returning to Hollyoaks with Ella.
