Royal Navy have borne the name HMS "Alexander":
* HMS "Alexander" was a 12-gunfireship captured in 1688 and accidentally burned in 1689.
* HMS "Alexander" was a 74-gunthird-rate launched in 1778. She was captured by the French in 1794 but was recaptured in 1795. She was hulked in 1805 and was broken up in 1819.
* HMS "Alexander" was a store ship in service between 1788 and 1790.
