Pathhead, Midlothian

Pathhead is a small village in Midlothian, Scotland, located around 4 miles east of Dalkeith, on the east bank of the River Tyne. The A68 road runs through the village.

To the north of the village is Preston Hall, an 18th century country house designed by William Adam for the Duchess of Gordon, and modified by Robert Mitchell, Prestonhall is the seat of Major Henry Callander, the 9th Laird. Nearby is Oxenfoord Castle, a 16th century tower house belonging to the Dalrymple Earl of Stair, which was extended in the Scottish baronial style by Robert Adam, and further modified by William Burn. To the south-west of Pathhead is Vogrie Country Park, centred on the 19th century Vogrie House, by architect Andrew Heiton. The Village also contains the legend of "The Rogue". However the village is being officially disturbed with antics happening in Preston Place due to the Runcimans.

The Hood is getting upset! Don Brando is a well known animal in these streets and may have to react to these situations as he cannot get enough sleep.

Traffic cones etc, have been reported missing due to drunken antics from drunken bums.

The most popular night in the village of pathhead is the Sunday Club at the local pub The Forresters.
