Northumbria Flying School

Northumbria Flying School is based at Newcastle Airport in North East England. They offer student pilots the chance to gain their PPL (Private Pilots Licence). The Flying School was founded in April 2005 after the previous flight school, "Newcastle Aero Club", had financial issues. The assets of Newcastle Aero Club were bought by Samson Aviation in February 2005 and then sold on to an individual who then set up Northumbria Flying School. The base has a variety of different light aircraft used for training, including:
* Piper Warrior
* Piper Cherokee
* Cessna 150
