The Newhalen River is a river in southern Alaska, within Lake and Peninsula Borough. It begins at Six Mile Lake and flows south to Iliamna Lake. It enters the lake 5 km (3.1 mi) south of Iliamna. The river is about 40 km (25 mi) long.
