Fungola were an alternative rock group from Perth, Scotland. The band were formed in Perth,
Scotland in 1996 and consisted of Paul Bywalec (vocals/guitar), Michael Cattanach (guitar), Dave Robb (bass/screaming) and Colin Brown (drums). They played their first show at the Jaffa Cake, King's Stables Road,Edinburgh on 18th March 1997 and went on to play numerous other live shows throughout the following two years until they disbanded in August 1999 after a turbulent gig at the Gallery in Edinburgh - a venue which was subsequently destroyed by the fire in 2002. Both records were made at the well-known Chambers Studios in Granton, North Edinburgh (Scotland) with the producer Jamie Watson. The studio was previously associated with Scottish alternative music luminaries such as
