Album History

**After two years of absence from the Greek music scene Vissi returned with the album "Everything I Am". But she promised her Greek fans a full Greek album.

**Her greek follow-up to "Antidoto" was on the works for some time and was supposed to be released in summer 2000 under the title "Agapi Ipervoliki", but Vissi and Karvelas wanted to test the market with a maxi-single. So, a month later after the release of cd-single "Everything I Am" she returned with the EP "Agapi Ipervoliki". The EP featured 6 brand new songs taken from the forthcoming album, including "Agapi Ipervoliki". 4 out of the 6 songs of the EP entered the official airplay charts and were made radio-singles.

**After the success of the EP they decided to go through with the release of the album in November.

**Kravgi was the 7th song and 5th single to come out from the album, just 2 weeks before the release of the album.

**Following the success of the EP the album was delaied for November. Despite the high popularity of Vissi and "Agapi Ipervoliki EP", "Kravgi" failed to debut at no1 because the album was released the same day as Notis Sfakianakis new album, the follow-up to his very successful live album. "Kravgi" remained at no2 for 3 weeks but with another single surfacing on the charts ("Horis To Moro Mou") the album climbed on no1 spot were it remained for 11 consequative weeks.

**Another 3 weeks at no1 followed a few weeks later and "Kravgi" is up-to this date the album with the most no1 weeks on the charts (14 weeks). It gained a 7X Platinum status (selling more than 300,000 copies) and it is up to this day the biggest selling album of the decade.

**In Cyprus it reached no1 from the first week of its release and stayed there for 4 months gaining a 7X Platinum status and is the best selling album of the decade.

**It also met great success in Turkey were it received a Gold status.

**It was also released in Australia in 2002 and peaked at no66 position of the official Australia Charts.

**"Kravgi" is the album with the most top 20 hits (10 in total) in Greece.

Chart Performance
