SQO-OSS (Software Quality Observatory for Open Source Software) is an IST-funded initiative [ cite web | title = SQO-OSS project page | url = http://www.sqo-oss.eu ] aiming to create a platform and the associated tools to measure the quality of software.

The project is led by the Athens University of Economics and Business and features partners such as the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Prosyst Gbmh, Sirius Corporation plc, Klarälvdalens Datakonsult AB and the KDE open source project.

As of June 2008, the project has opened development to the public [ cite web | title = SQO-OSS community web site | url = http://www.sqo-oss.org/ ] and has launched a web site to present the results of applying the produced tools on various open source software packages [ cite web | title = SQO-OSS results web site | url = http://demo.sqo-oss.org ]
