The Lifted Brow

The Lifted Brow

The Lifted Brow is a literary journal in circulation in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, Australia.

Published biannually, the journal contains fiction, non-fiction, "pretend non-fiction", poetry, line art, comics, interviews, photo portfolios and miscellany (such as knitting patterns). Launched on January 19 2007, the journal was founded by Ronnie Scott with the assistance of members of Brisbane's young writers community.

In 2007, The Lifted Brow is also a series of live events in Brisbane, combining bands, readings, and exhibitions, with a second issue planned for September.
