Josefina Vicens (1911 –
November 22 ,1988 ) was a Mexican novelist, screenwriter and journalist. Although she only published two novels, she is regarded as a pillar of modern Mexican literature."El libro vacio" (The Empty Book) was the first Mexican meta-literary novel, using the resources of the "Nouveau Roman". It was awarded the
