The district is subdivided into 5 subdistricts ("
tambon "), which are further subdivided into 59 villages ("muban "). There are two townships ("thesaban tambon ") - Kamphaeng Phet covers parts of "tambon" Kamphaeng Phet, and Na Si Thong covers parts of "tambon" Khao Phra.
