Robert Drasnin was born on
17 November 1927 in Charleston,West Virginia . At an early age Drasnin was interested in theClarinet so he took lessons but when his family moved toLos Angeles he wasn't to start until 1938. He attended Franklin Avenue Grammar School inEast Hollywood and then Thomas Starr King Junior High and eventuallyLos Angeles High School in which he joined theAmerican Federation of Musicians . Drasnin went into the Army aftergraduation . In 1977 he becameDirector of Music for theCBS Network .Personal life
Robert Drasnin got married once which ended in
divorce but in 1956 Drasnin married Marlene Waters, with whom he has three children, Morgen, Jennifer and a son Michael.Discography
