It tells the story of Kohinoor (Govinda) who was forced from his kingdom as a child who returns 20 years later to reclaim his rightful place. He had lived in the Himalayas for 20 years because Ranvir Singh had murdered his whole family. The family's former maid's son Ali (Raj Babbar) tells him the truth about his past. From then on, Kohinoor seeks to kill Ranvir. The film ends showing Kohinoor succeeding in killing Ranvir, thus avenging the death of his family and uniting with his ladylove Shaili played by Manisha Koirala.
