Muntasir Mamun

Muntasir Mamun ( _bn. মুনতাসীর মামুন) is a Bangladeshi historian, children's writer and translator. As an academic historian, he tends to be a both side viewer.

Works on Dhaka

Muntasir Mamun mainly worked on the historical city of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Wrote several books about this city, took part in movements to save Dhaka. All his works on Dhaka is published in one book.

Works on Liberation War

Among other historical works on 1971, his "Sei Sob Pakistani" is very famous. In this book, many leading Pakistani's interview was published. Most of them were the leading Pakistani character during the liberation war of Bangladesh.

Writing and translations

In 1980s and 1990s, Muntasir mamun wrote and translated some thrillers, horrors and S.F. stories.
