James Moody (1976-) is a general manager of International Development at the

He frequently also uses his middle name, and is also known as James Bradfield Moody.James sits on a number of company, association and advisory councils and boards, including the Brisbane Institute and the
National Australia Day Council , theBureau of Meteorology andAustralian Bureau of Statistics . James was the managing director of Natural Resource Intelligence (NRI), a spacial information company [www.atse.org.au/uploads/Moody03.pdf] , and part of the Natural Intelligence (ASX: NAI) group. James resigned in 2003 amid controversy during NRI's collapse and wind down. He was also a founder and co-chair of the Space Generation Advisory Council in support of the UN Programme on Space Applications, a group of students and young space professionals who run programmes including the annual "Yuri's night" space party. James was also a member of the Science and Technology delegation to the UN World Summit on Sustainable Development in 2002, was a member and executive secretary of the taskforce on Science and Technology for theMillennium Development Goals and was invited to attend theWorld Economic Forum as a Global Leader of Tomorrow in 2003.In 2000, James was named Young Professional Engineer of the Year [ [http://www.abc.net.au/rn/scienceshow/stories/2000/140190.htm Science Show - 17 June 2000 - Young Engineer of the Year 2000 ] ] and in 2005 was named one of the 100 most influential engineers in Australia.
