KDKA-TV ,Pittsburgh in 1978 as a host for "Pittsburgh 2Day" (1978-1990), a popular talk/variety show, which was also the highest rated local program broadcast in the Pittsburgh market for ten of the twelve years Patrice was co-host. With the job, she had the privilege of interviewing local and national superstars of that time. After hosting "Pittsburgh 2Day" Patrice began anchoring at KDKA.
