Inverness and was educated at the Royal High School and theUniversity of Edinburgh . Before entering theScottish Parliament he was a television producer forBBC News . He and his wife Claire live inBusby, in East Renfrewshire with their four children, and a fifth on the way .After his election, Macintosh was a ministerial aide until he voted against the
Scottish Executive over the closure of the A&E Department at the Victoria Infirmary inGlasgow .
