Vivian Della Chiesa

Vivian Della Chiesa was a soprano.

She debuted with the Chicago Civic Opera in 1936 and performed for many memorable radio performances of great operatic and choral works, many with Arturo Toscanini. Their recording of Brahms' "German Requiem" has been re-released on Compact Disc. In 1947, the soprano sang Maddalena in Giordano's "Andrea Chénier" at the New York City Opera. She later served as a television talk show host in Cincinnati in the 1960's.
