Air Commodore Dame Nancy Marion Salmon, DBE (2 May 1906–1999), also known by her married name, Dame Nancy Snagge, was a British women's air force leader during World War II ([1]). She was Director of the Women's Royal Air Force from 1950–1956.
Salmon married Thomas Geoffrey Mordaunt Snagge (11 January 1902 – 17 July 1984), son of Sir Mordaunt Snagge and Gwendaline Rose Emily Colomb, in 1962. They had no children.
She was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1955. She died in 1999.
