Chic Today ), an internationally established and acclaimed online entertainment channel and digital magazine (Chic Today – often referred as Chic Magazine, not to be confused with the Chic 1976 Larry Flynt publication). The knowledge of web-design engineering associated lately with the study and approach to graphic design brought him to move to the city ofMilan where he worked and lived for over four years. During the Milanese experience Biffi worked for companies of the caliber of Fullsix,Young & Rubicam , Digital JWT and the InternationalWPP Group , within which he progressively and at a very fast pace achieved roles of Art Direction leadership and the ability to work with major international clients such asAlfa Romeo , Ferrero, Telecom,Heineken , Smart andIlly Café.Always working for the WPP Group, Biffi has then been asked to move toLisbon to lead a team of designers for Fullsix Portugal, where he lived and worked for over one year in 2004 on projects forNokia ,McDonald’s ,Carlsberg , Axe,Ballantine’s ,Pantene and several national brands in the consumer and communication fields.In 2005 Biffi moved to London where, after obtaining a professional certification in movie direction at LFA – London Film Academy, he found himself unexpectedly working in the field of fashion where he was asked to art direct the launch of a brand new luxury lifestyle glossy magazine called [http://www.issue-one.com/ "Issue One"] . Biffi created for Issue One the design guidelines, layout and visual concept of the entire product and signed the first two issues as Art Director.
The experience gained by setting up this last project brought him to investigate the possibility to create new guidelines for the launch of digital flick-through magazines and to explore the potentiality of the online media to convert the classic form of offline magazine communication into a new concept of “page flicking magazines online”.
