Harris Baronets

Harris Baronets

There have been four creations of baronets for people with the surname Harris, two in the Baronetage of England and two in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. The first was created for Thomas Harris on 22 December 1622. The second was created on the 1 December 1673 for Arthur Harris the Member of Parliament for Okehampton 1671-1681. The third was created on 14 January 1932 for Percy Alfred Harris the Member of Parliament for Harborough 1916-1918 and Bethnal Green South West 1922-1945. The fourth was created on 24 January 1953 for the famous second world war commander of RAF Bomber Command Arthur Travers Harris.
