Sutton High Sports College is a secondary school in the Sutton area of St.Helens,Merseyside. It is a medium sized school with 11 - 16 and 16 + facilities. The School was originally opened as an intended replacement for the much older Robins Lane High School. The Robins Lane site remained in use up until its demolition.. The bell from the school can be seen on display inside the current Sutton High site.
The schools current chair of governors is Mr Keith Flanagan, the headteacher was Mr Paul Melia up until his recent resignation, who replaced longstanding headteacher Mrs Lesley Calderbank in 2004. The senior management and leadership team also includes Mr P Madden and Mrs C Parkinson.
